At the SA-Learners License Academy, we teach you to beat the "Computer Logic." The DLTC test doesn't just test your knowledge; it tests your attention to detail.
Here are the 4 main tricks:
The "Technically Correct" Trap: Two answers may look right, but only one uses the exact legal wording from the NaTIS manual.
The Number Jumble: The computer swaps common distances (like 5m, 6m, or 9m) to see if you’ve actually memorized the specific rule.
The "Except" Rule: Many questions focus on the exceptions to a rule (e.g., you can’t drive on the shoulder unless it’s daytime and visibility is 150m).
Visual Twins: Some signs look almost identical (like No Stopping vs. No Parking). If you rush, you will pick the wrong one.
The Golden Rule: Read all three options. The "trick" is usually hiding in the one you haven't read yet!

LEARNERS LICENSE APPLICATION
When you apply to write the test, you'll need to take the following to your nearest traffic department:
Your official South African identity document.
Two ID-sized black and white or colour photographs (35mm x 45mm).
The R68 application fee.
Proof of address (not older than 3 months).
If you're under 18 years old, an adult (parent, relative, or whomever you're residing with) must confirm your address in an affidavit. They must sign and stamp the affidavit at a SAPS office or Commissioner of Oaths.
You'll also need to complete the LL1 form, which will be provided by the traffic department.
Remember to take a pen as most traffic departments don't provide any.
Once you've submitted your form, you'll be given a date for your test.
You can only cancel this date if you are:
Sick (you'll need to provide a medical certificate).
Attending a funeral (you'll need to provide a death certificate).
Writing exams (you'll have to provide a timetable).
Our Aim: Redefining Learner’s Licence Success
At SA-Learners License Academy, our aim is to completely eliminate the stress, guesswork, and high failure rates associated with the old ways of studying for your learner's licence. The Driver’s Licence Testing Centres (DLTCs) have transitioned to an advanced, highly challenging computerized testing system drawing from over 1,200 randomized questions. Traditional, outdated study books are no longer enough to get you through.
Recognizing this shift, we have engineered a brand-new, training course built from the ground up to beat the modern system. Our aim is to transform the massive, overwhelming wave of NaTIS traffic legislation into a highly structured, data-targeted learning experience. By isolating complex numerical metrics into dedicated study blocks and stripping away confusing legal jargon, we equip you with the exact "Computer Logic" needed to bypass trick questions.
Welcome to the future of driver education!
